Yesterday, Mayor Quinton Lucas announced new health code guidelines in Kansas City in an effort to slow the spread of Covid-19. Firstly, we would like to applaud the mayor for taking action. We are confident that this was a very tough decision for him to make. We are by no means out of the woods, and it is our hope that we can all return to supporting our live music community safely and in full force when the time comes.

Our new hours of operation: Monday through Wednesday, 5pm-10pm and Thursday through Sunday, highnoon-10pm.

Our new 10pm curfew does mean that we will not be returning to our regular late-night stage schedule anytime soon. Coyote Bill’s popular Tuesday Night Blues Jam is on hiatus for the time being as well. However, we are set up and ready to host live performances via live stream with advance ticketed shows and reserved seating so that we can remain socially distanced. Please let us catch our footing and adapt to the new guidelines in Kansas City. We’ll have show announcements your way in early December and a local music podcast coming in 2021!

We will continue to adapt and push forward and cannot wait to get back to the business of hosting meaningful performances from our little corner of the world. In the meantime, stop in and see us for an afternoon escape, buy up some of our online merchandise, donate to the production fund, or consider a pledge to our Patreon. And of course, keep an eye on the calendar as we start to fill it in for 2021! At this juncture, every bit counts and is appreciated beyond measure.

Lastly, if you are a musician, we sincerely hope that you are doing well and staying positive through this mess. If you would like to set up a performance in December or beyond, please contact us at Or, even better, if you are in the neighborhood, stop in and lets talk shop. We’ll be over here waiting out the storm awaiting brighter days!
