WESTPORT SALOON

Located in Kansas City's historic Westport District, The Westport Saloon has become a midwest haven for the underground. Roots, Honky Tonk, Bluegrass, Blues, Blues Rock, Folk, Rockabilly, and that Twang you live for - you can find it here.  

Our mission is to support live music.  Whether it be stage-side and in person, or from the comfort of your living room through our virtual venue, we hope that you can join us in support of your live music community. 

Life can leave you thirsty. We know that better than anyone. Kansas City has been in the booze business since before flat-bottom boats were poling their way up and down the Big Muddy. From crafted cocktails that came to KC from Louisville, a cold beer from the icy mountains, or something to slowly sip our bartenders will keep your thirst at bay.

Like the settlers of Westport, we are also known for our whiskey. Overtime, and as tastes have changed, we have amassed quite the collection to keep your glass filled and you coming back. Saloons predate prohibition establishments, when drinks were uncomplicated, not pretentious and hearty.  It’s alright to be heavy on the bourbon and Scotch – we don’t judge.
