8pm: Harper and Lee

Harper and Lee are a husband & wife indie touring duo playing Americana Rock music. “We combine a mixture of Americana, Folk, Rock, and Singer-Songwriter, new and old, while also creating our own style.

One thing we do know is that we make people laugh, cry, and dance all in one show.” says Harper and Lee who have been on a non-stop tour for coming on 2 years. One reason Harper and Lee are so unique is their 13 year age difference. Lead vocalist, guitarist and percussionist Lee (22) only just started playing music as their touring began in 2018. “You will absolutely fall in love with Lee’s beautiful and unique voice. And her musical gifts don’t stop there….she plays the guitar, drum, and tambourine too…”. Lead guitarist, and back-up vocalist, Harper (35) has been playing for over 20 years.

“You’ll be impressed with the musical stylings of Harper on the guitar and vocals. I never tire of watching his fingers fly on those strings!” This difference makes it so young, old, and everywhere in between gravitates towards the encapsulation of many generations.

10pm: Dust Devil Choir

Dust Devil Choir are purveyors of American Music at its finest. With musicians as seasoned as Kansas City BBQ, they infuse roots music with guitarmonies and swagger for a result that isn’t entirely blues, isn’t exactly country, but is all American rock and roll. If your jaw doesn’t end up on the floor, you’re listening to another band.

12am: Fletcher Christian

Fletcher Christian has been a musician for almost 20 years. He spent 9 years in the Army and struggled to find purpose after returning from Afghanistan in 2013. He holds a BA in Communications and MA in Theology, both of which he received in the years he was finding himself.

He decided to go all in with his love of music. It’s healing properties, according to him, are better than hours of therapy.  His style is a mixture of rock, blues, jazz, and funk. He released his first solo album “Ever Stuff” in March of 2019. His subsequent singles include 5 more songs, his biggest track to date, “Paranormal,” and a look inside his days of service in “Soldier Song.” You can find him playing all over the Kansas City Metro Area.

The Westport Saloon

Located in Kansas City’s historic Westport District, The Westport Saloon has become a midwest haven for the underground. Roots, Honky Tonk, Bluegrass, Blues, Blues Rock, Folk, Rockabilly, and that Twang you live for.

Like the settlers of Westport, we work tirelessly to bring amazing names to our stage. Over the years we have hosted acts such as Wayne “the Train” Hancock, Dale Watson, Moe Brandy, JD Wilkes, Jayke Orvis and the Broken Band,  The Goddamn Gallows, Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, Bob Wayne and the Outlaw Carnies, Luke Bell, The Hooten Hallers, Carries Nation and the Speakeasy and so many more.

Like the settlers of Westport, we are also known for our whiskey. Overtime, and as tastes have changed, we have amassed quite the collection to keep your glass filled and you coming back. Saloons predate prohibition establishments, when drinks were uncomplicated, not pretentious and hearty.  It’s alright to be heavy on the bourbon and Scotch – we don’t judge.
